You know how you feel when you have a really, really cool secret
but you can't tell because, well, it's a secret?
That is exactly how I have felt ever since we experienced the Secret Cinema in London
which happened during the two weeks away from my computer.
I wanted so badly to get the word out before it all disappears.
Part of the fun is the whole 'tell no one' theme,
which I walk a fine line by mentioning here on Traveling Simile,
but I can't let you miss the fun,
that began long before we ever set foot in the Grand Budapest Hotel.
After purchasing the tickets we were like young children on Christmas Eve
waiting for the email to disclose the location and attire in order to be...
where the creative efforts of many turned an empty building…
into the Grand Budapest Hotel
filled with many of the quirky details of the movie itself.
Wes Anderson would be proud.
Of course, the evening ended with a viewing of the film
and a quick farewell kiss.
Tickets are scarce but their Facebook page sometimes provides opportunities for tickets.
If you are in London, take my word for it…
book a visit to The Grand Budapest,
or any other Secret Cinema event for that matter.
Have a wonderful Wednesday.
