As mentioned yesterday,

our hotel was down a small alley off of the Piazza San Marco 

and the location was what attracted me.

Although,

my positive review for Locanda Orseolo 

began long before we ever left Scotland.

Reservations were made for dinner after detailed emails provided me ample choices 

and this personal attention to details continued throughout our stay.

Their willingness to help in any way made life easier in Venice...

and those crepes for breakfast.

These guys kept us company in our room

 and were a charming part of the decor.

Meanwhile, reflecting on our time in Venice is enchanting all over again.
