"Every disposition of the ground was good; and she looked on the whole scene, the river, the trees scattered on its banks, and the winding of the valley, as far as she could trace it." ~ Pride and Prejudice, Elizabeth's first visit to Pemberley

Today is my Friday because tomorrow morning...
very early...
a few of us gals are setting off on a road trip south to touch as many pieces of pottery as possible.
Stoke-on-Trent, also called 'The Potteries' is home to Royal Doultan, Wedgewood, Spode and other names I have been reading on the backs of plates for many years.

Although we have quite an itinerary planned out...
we are going to be too close to the stomping grounds of my beloved "Pride and Prejudice".
Most likely...
there will be no time for a visit to the Peak District National Park...
but Derby is just a measly thirty five minutes drive.
We shall see if we can pull ourselves away from the clinking china extravaganza.

This road trip coincides nicely with the long, Labor Day weekend back home, so here are just a few links to entertain you as you refrain from laboring.

* The big hoopla over the Bic pens for women brought out the creative writing on Amazon.
*  If you are in need of a good book, I enjoyed,
Reading Lolita in Tehran, a few years back
and this review may seal the deal.
*  These stickers are too cute and just in time for Back-to-School.

Have a fabulous weekend!
