“I suppose there were moonless nights and dark ones with but a silver shaving and pale stars in the sky, but I remember them all as flooded with the rich indolence of a full moon.” ~ Willa Sibert Cather

I love, love, love
the first night in a new city...
when all of your senses are working overtime.
After dropping off our bags,
Ren Man and I were pulled toward the beach
like two paper clips and a powerful magnet,
it was immediate...
the twinkling lights in the marina...
the smells of the restaurants...
and the sounds of the waves gently rolling upon the shore...
all beckoned us.

Having read about a place on the beach...
we strolled along hoping to get a taste of our first paella in Barcelona...
and secured a table by the toasty fire...
at Escriba Xiringuito.

The entire evening was magical
and we slowly made our way back to the hotel...
in the light of a full moon rising.

I told you it was magical.

May your weekend be just as magical.
