We had a chance to spend a few days in Glasgow while 'the foodie' was over for a visit which coincided with her birthday...
needless to say, there was major shopping involved 
sprinkled between tasty meals.

We laid our heads upon the pillows at,

Blytheswood Square Hotel and even spent some time in the spa.
What I will always remember most from the Blytheswood...
are the scones and the whipped strawerry jam served with tea. 
So heavenly, we had to use extreme control 
to not return the next day for more.  
Instead we had a late lunch at Cafezique, already raved about...
For dinner we did discover a gem...
Mother India which impressed 
with its uniqueness and really good Indian food.

Glasgow is always a good idea.
