A lovely, brief stroll from my home...
is Hammerton Store...
one of the dearest shops in Aberdeen...
mentioned before here.
Being one of my very first discoveries I fondly compare it to
a neighborhood general store, alot like the drug store back home used to be. A place where you can meet friends for a coffee, purchase that food item you can't seem to find anywhere else, and oh yeah, buy this...
sweet little fire pit.
After hours...
you will find all types of events going on...
like whisky tastings and the such.
Ren Man, purchased this bottle of whiskey...
distilled the year we were married.
Makes me tear right up...
how sentimental he can be.
You might want to follow all of the action on Facebook
so you do not miss a thing.
Scotland the Best describes Hammerton Store this way...
"...not strictly speaking a deli, more a superior provisioner where essentials include art and cool pottery and travelling rugs...Tables outside where you can snack and reflect how nice it would be to have a place like this in your neighbourhood."
Happy Monday!
