Fortunately,

the boat show was held in Ghent, Gent in Dutch, or Gand in French,

where the kids were as entertained with the opportunity to sail or surf

 as the adults were with their opportunities for tactile dreams of a new boat.

Otherwise we might have missed this city located in the Flemish area of Belgium...

complete with its own Gravensteen Castle…

still surrounded by a moat,

and very cool Ghent Market Hall... 

with its multi-purpose…

amazement.

Meanwhile, there is so much more to share, but…

well…

the sun is shining…

 and it's mahjong Friday.
