What to do on a rainy day in London?
London has you covered...
hahaha...
no pun intended.
We started our day off with...

We started our day off with...
which has had a bit of a face lift since we were there last.
Fortunately,
the makeover did not mess with our yummy favorites,
but instead added a few places to sit and devour our goodies...
and a public toilet.
Located beneath the London Bridge and being a covered market,
its perfect for those rainy Saturday mornings.
Actually,
its perfect for any Saturday morning.
With museums galore,
there are plenty of distractions...

With museums galore,
there are plenty of distractions...
and we finally made it to the Tate Modern,
where you can amble through three floors of the collection,
all free of course.

Now, in true form,
our cultural hours were bookended with culinary goodness,
and we concluded our day dining at...
where those Madeleine's were baked fresh
and bought warm to our table at the end of our amazing supper.
I love how they call it supper like we do back in Texas.
Details like this one and their rule of no cell phones allowed in the dining room
are both reasons for a repeat visit to St. John.
Of course, next time I want to dine with a crowd,
large enough to order a suckling pig...
whole...
served on a platter at our feasting table.
Thank goodness for rainy days and all of the opportunities
to enjoy the INSIDE of London.
Have a wonderful Wednesday.
