"If Copenhagen were a person, that person would be generous, beautiful, elderly, but with a flair. A human being that has certain propensities for quarrelling, filled with imagination and with appetite for the new and with respect for the old - somebody who takes good care of things and of people." Connie Nielsen

Ahhhh.....
where do I begin?

We definitely experienced Copenhagen in the very best light...
sunlight that is.
Everything looks so shiny in the sunlight.

As we crossed the bridge to Christianshavn...
came into view and assured front row seats for all of the hustle and bustle
the ubiquitous water offers in Copenhagen.
In case you are wondering...
like the last time we slept on a boat.

Built as hotel rooms and assembled onto the vessel,
the rooms at CPH Living have all of the conveniences of your basic hotel room.
After our first spin through town, Ren Man quickly found the hammock
on the rooftop terrace which also offered the added bonus...
of up close vistas of the 5:00 o'clock traffic on a Friday which also happened to be the...
and whose only obstacle between here and there...
were the bridges who rise to attention at the sound of a horn.

If your travel includes a Saturday night...
after the sun finally sets and darkness coats the city like a blanket sprinkled with twinkly lights...
nearby Tivoli fireworks provide the perfect exclamation point to end your day.
Watching from our perch on the rooftop added further validation of our lodging choice while in Copenhagen.
Oh, and did I mention that a continental breakfast is included?
One that includes a choice of danish each morning.

Happy Tuesday.
