I think it is safe to say...
 that out of all of our getaways across Europe...
coming home trumps them all.

Like rubbing ointment on worn out muscles, 
being home amongst family and friends 
for the necessary amount of time to truly be in vacation mode...
 soothes the soul.

So...
this week will spotlight...
 our Top Five Reasons Going (or Staying) Home is the BEST Vacay.
To clarify, for us, travel is involved and 'home' means AMERICA.

Now, I am not a huge baseball fan, but there is something about being at the ballpark.
Especially, when it involves spending time with my two amazing nephews who are the...
We arrived early to fully experience the sport that kindles American nostalgia like no other,
 and explored the stadium packed with remnants from the past...
which involved the pleasure of meeting Orbit who keeps the crowd giggling.

My favorite ballpark moment is when all hats are removed...
 and everyone respectfully stands and faces the American flag,
 as the national anthem is performed.
'O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.'
Gets me every time.
Maybe it is just my sentimental age.

Speaking of sentimental...
Ren Man brought his what is now old enough to be considered...
before they banged my otherwise occupied head scanning the stadium
 in every direction except the action on the field.
My people watching was interrupted a few times 
as quite a few errant balls whizzed past.
Advertising embellishes the ballpark,
 and Chick-fil-a wins the creativity award as the infamous cows watch for foul balls.

Meanwhile, the highlight of the game...
 for us anyway...
was the few moments of fame on the jumbo tron...
ticking off an item on their bucket list.

Definitely worth being one of...
 our Top Five Reasons Going Home is the BEST Vacay.
