My Aberdeen Monday...

If you just can't make it to the Christmas market in Copenhagen...
just south of Aberdeen you can discover the next best thing...
a Danish Christmas shop housed in an old school house built in 1600...
and tastefully stocked with items from Denmark and beyond.
The pixie advent calendar is still calling my name.
So load up your friends and make a day of shopping and delicious yumminess in the adjoining cafe.

Don't tarry...
they are open until December 16th with a special chocolate demonstration taking place on December 9th.

Happy Monday.

It's the day after Thanksgiving...
and you know what that means.
The Dome,  Edinburgh
or at least in our house that was always the rule.

So... where better to find inspiration than one of the many Christmas markets that begin this weekend all over Germany.
Yes...
Ren Man can hardly contain his excitement of shopping 'Black Friday' in a frenzy of women wielding nutcrackers and candle pyramids.
As we scour the nooks and crannies of Heidelberg, I am sure we can find a nice book store for him to burrow in...
but we will most definitely kick off the Christmas season with warm mugs of Gluhwein.

Have a wonderful weekend.
