It's harvest time around here...
and the fields of Aberdeenshire are scattered with emotionless bales of hay.
They were as still as a possum 'playing possum'...
 hoping the grey ominous clouds would pass them by...
and leave them alone to party on.
Apparently it worked...
because the minute the clouds were out of sight...

they resumed play and rolled towards... 

the road to greet passing cars.

You probably thought they were lazy bales and just lay around all day and night.

It is a wonderful time of year to head home to Texas in order to make last minute preparations for our son's pending wedding and as luck would have it...
I arrive just in time for the Round Top Antique Fair where bales of hay have been moved aside to make room for acres and acres of antiques and other 'junk' treasures.
