"All types of high-tech underwater contraptions have gone in after the Loch Ness Monster, but no one can find her ... Some people in Inverness aren't keen on collaring the monster, and you can't blame them: An old prophecy predicts a violent end for Inverness if the monster is ever captured." DANFORTH PRINCE, Frommer's Great Britain

One of the main tourist attractions for all ages in Inverness is...
of course...
(cue spooky music) the Lochness monster.
So dinner overlooking Lochness at
Dores Inn was the perfect place for a scrumptious dinner and a search for Nessy...
with no luck other than finding a lovely spot on the lake for a meal worth repeating.

RockNess Festival takes place in a nearby field a week from today and I am a wee bit tempted to go...
just to check out the boutique camping

Meanwhile...
hopefully, you can find a spot...
overlooking a seemingly peaceful view...
to discuss the existence of monsters,
maybe even make up your own Nessy tales.

We are headed south across the border to explore the lake district.
What do you have going on this weekend?
