One aspect of the expat life is the opportunity to explore new corners of the world with other women living the same 'life experience' away from home.

Last Spring we frolicked up and down the calles de Madrid,

while this Spring we took a 'Royal Tour' of Holland,

with three amazing Dutch friends as our hostesses.

It happened to be the weekend before Queen's Day,

 so suffice it to say...

there was excitement...

 in the air...

and lots of orange.

Our place to rest our weary heads each night in...

was perfectly located for all of our gallavanting about.

As soon as we dropped off our luggage...

we were on our way to nearby Delft,
