"Never tell your resolution beforehand, or it's twice as onerous a duty." ~ John Selden

There is something about the new year that makes me anxious.
There...
I said it.
All the other beautiful blogs out there
are posting their year in review with photos and easy links to past reminders of all of those projects that were put on a list somewhere in my office/guest/storage room.
Projects that never saw even the spark of a beginning.
Much less the light of day.
Feeling anxious yet?

We have traveled to London many times,
most recently to celebrate New Years,
and there is
as we strolled down Picadilly for a sneak peak of those awaiting the start.
We heard the announcer present the beginning of the line-up before we were able to see...
the Stephen F. Austin band just as they began to play...
"Yellow Rose of Texas".
Brought a tear to these eyes of Texas.

Anywho...
each visit has resulted in separate posts which make it very time consuming to present them with just one click.

Sooooo...
a management decision has been made.
After contemplating what Traveling Simile has been up to...
on a much more miniscule scale than the beautiful people of course...
I realized,
my technological skills will require a slower revelation of  highlights of 2012.

 If done correctly,
as we travel back in time...
with just a little extra effort on my part,
some of my favorite cities will be highlighted
and just one little click away.

So, there you have it.
My one resolution that involves this blog has been posted
 and sealed into eternal accountability.
Forget onerous.

Just keep stopping by...
and leave a note sometimes.

Happy Tuesday.
