"Even the simplest act of kindness can be a way to honor those we have lost, and to help build stronger communities and a more resilient Nation. By joining together on this solemn anniversary, let us show that America's sense of common purpose need not be a fleeting moment, but a lasting virtue -- not just on one day, but every day." ~ President Obama

I don't do politics...
I mean...
I vote, although sometimes it is hard to make a choice...
but being out of the country during this political season has been a reprieve from the 'mis-speaks'...
Purely fictional while hysterically ambiguous.

This is my normal stance during the months of commercials, debates, and rhetoric overload...

Meanwhile, today at least...
provides us a time to pause and stop focusing on our differences,
but instead remember the victims
and those who stepped forward in service
to help our country pick up the pieces.

September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance
encourages volunteer service to our communities.

If you need ideas for where to donate your time...
there is United We Serve 'at your service'.

Volunteering is always a good idea.
It's not about politics...
it's good for the soul.

Happy Tuesday!
