Today...

definitely deserves to be the second Thrilling Thursday post.

A few months ago...

while glancing through Mr. Porter, a well-done, first class online shopping extravaganza for men,

 I came across The Knack: How to Propose...

which took me back to a day I will never forget.

A lone golden egg lay waiting in an Easter basket among jelly beans and chocolate...

and upon closer inspection...

 held a sparkling stone which then led to that life-changing question...

followed by squeals of delight followed by the obvious answer. 

We have been married for 26 years today and...

the words of Barbara Streisand still hold true... 

 Happy Anniversary Ren Man!
