because I am not gonna lie.
Texas is a BIG state!
By the time we passed this sign...
we were prepared for whatever happened for the next few days.
Fortunately,
I had read the mañanifesto of El Cosmico which embraces the...
attitude...
so I felt mentally prepared.
However, nothing can completely prepare you for your first visit to El Cosmico.
If you are a tent camper...
your sleeping arrangements are pretty much the same as any other campground...
but where else can you enjoy this...
or these...
full size bathroom facilities?
The community kitchen is low key but has everything you would need to prepare a meal and entertain a group.
This is encouraged and happy voices and maybe, if you are lucky, guitar notes, fill the air until the wee hours...
so remember the manifesto!
Our "Little Pinky" was cozy but perfect in every way and stocked with Jo's coffee for a mean espresso, a fridge and stovetop.
I can NOT wait to take Ren Man back to this mañana haven...
but until then...
I will read and reread the mañanifesto every now and again as a reminder.
