"Paris is always a good idea." ~ Audrey Hepburn as Sabrina

There is nothing like The Sunday Times, a crackling fire and a grilled cheese sandwich
eaten while listening to
Garrison Keillor on Tune-In Radio to confirm
that Ren Man and I are back into our comfy routine.

Although jet lag is history, the memories of our short time in Paris linger, and all the reasons to return
sooner than later remain...
is divine and there are unlimited choices.

Lunchtime the first day...
found us at Le Tir Bouchon...
for our first pate' of the trip.

We had a decadent, very late dinner
at the uber cool Hotel du Nord...

which now houses a restaurant on the Canal St. Martin.
Be sure and check out the link to their website...
further proof of its coolness.
I love the cook in the photo above...
it was late and he is looking at the front door...
wondering...
"Are they still letting people in?"
Of course...
that is purely editorial on my part!

We wandered down this alley
for fondue in a quaint cave of a place...
aptly named Pain, Vin, Fromages.

museums...
and more museums.

We especially loved The Centre Pompidou...
sometimes referred to as Beaubourg and is open until nine every night but closed on Tuesdays.
This is very close to the fondue place so a perfect combo
for an evening out.

More reasons to visit Paris,
as if you needed a reason,
tomorrow.

Happy Monday.
