"Scientists dream about doing great things. Engineers do them." ~ James A. Michener

is exactly as the name implies...

but caught me be surprise...

with the amount of interactive exhibits,
to better explain the equipment necessary...
and the dangers of this industry,

that some people...

love to hate...
and hate to admit their dependence on its many derivatives...
like my livelihood!!!

It is very interesting...
even to me...
the incredible changes in technology...
and it was nice to hear Ren Man's stories...

of the olden days...
and how much its changed...
over the years.

The minute I walked through the doors...
I found myself looking at the museum...

through a child's eyes...
and the wonderment...
wait...
you mean...
I could get paid to do this stuff?

Supposedly...
sometime in 2011...
the huge offshore unit...
referred to as...
Valhall oil field...
will be...
well...
read for yourself...
It is incredulous to think...
that Norway has the electrical power to handle this...
amount of electricity.

It boggles the mind...
the creativity of the scientists...
and engineers who make all this happen.

On the other hand...
in their spare time they...
build sculptures...

out of the tableware...
in the cafe at the museum.

Have a technological Tuesday!
