Just a quick post before boarding...


I will be the first to admit...
I feel like this resourceful squirrel outside 'the foodies' new pad in Austin...

in this Texas heat...
where rain is desperately needed...

and the temperature was 110℉...
in the shade.


Thank goodness for the few days we were able to spend in southern California...

as we celebrated "the editor's" engagement...
and for air conditioning...

where we documented 'the foodies' first week of culinary school.

Spending time with family and friends...

of course...

made the heat bearable...

and even forgettable...

as we spent time... 

together...

with the cool breezes... 

of the A/C...

propelling our laughter and stories... 

to the place...

where memories are kept.
